Research Topic: Exploring how the contexts we live and learn in affect social, emotional, and behavioral health outcomes across the life course.

Project Details:

Our interdisciplinary research group explores how the contexts we live and learn in affect social, emotional, and behavioral health outcomes across the life course. We are particularly interested in the family system and the role of intergenerational relationships in promoting adaptive developmental outcomes and well-being. We seek undergraduate students to assist with two related systematic review projects exploring family psychosocial stressors (e.g., financial strain, work-family conflict, chronic health conditions) and 1) youth academic outcomes and 2) family-level health.

Qualifications:

Open to students with interests in education studies, mental health/counseling, social work, community and behavioral health, psychology, and other social sciences fields. No previous research experience is necessary. 

Time Commitment: 

5 hours/week

Compensation: 

Volunteer (Optional registration for URES:3991 or URES:3992 0-credit transcript recognition).
