Uterine endometrial cancer incidence (~65,950 new cases/year) and deaths (~12,550 deaths/year) are on the rise. To help endometrial cancer patients and cure endometrial cancer, we need understand the characteristics of this disease. The current focus of our work is to understand molecular mechanisms of endometrial tumor progression and utilize target therapy or molecular enhanced hormonal therapy to treat endometrial cancer and other hormone-driven cancers.

Another chance for students to present will be the 2024 Spring Undergraduate Research Festival which will take place on Wednesday, April 3rd. Applications will be accepted starting in January.

Fall 2023 Supply Grant Recipients

This Fall OUR has awarded ten students with a Research Supply Grant! Grants of up to $1,000 are available for research and creative work expenses including equipment, supplies, software, travel to access facilities not available on campus, travel to access collections or materials not available on campus, interviews (research related), on location filming, etc. Applications for Spring will be open January 15th, 2024.
