The Stanley Undergraduate and Graduate Awards for International Research are given annually to outstanding University of Iowa students for the pursuit of research and learning activities outside of the United States.

The Stanley Awards for International Research are awarded to undergraduate and graduate students who have, in close consultation with faculty members, developed well-conceived, small-scale independent research or fieldwork projects on international topics requiring travel abroad. Students in their final semester or final year of study are ineligible to apply.
