What is the Poster Printing Award?

The Poster Printing Award funds $100 for undergraduates to aid in the cost of printing a poster.

Poster Printing Award

When students present research at a conference, the costs can add up. Through the new Poster Printing Award, the Office of Undergraduate Research hopes to help with this burden by awarding students for the cost of printing one poster ($100).  We ask that students request only what they need to print their poster.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis during the academic year. Once funds are depleted, applications will close.

Students will be notified if they are selected within two weeks of submission.

Award Information

This award is intended for use by the student to print a conference poster within the current fiscal year. The OUR will not pay directly for printing or reimburse individuals for printing costs.

Department Payments:

Please note: To be eligible for the Poster Printing Award, students must work with their Department Administrator or Faculty Mentor. Funds can only be released to a department, not an individual student. The MFK may be provided after submission of this application.

Acknowledgements

We encourage students to use their poster at multiple events, so be sure you have all your acknowledgements on it! If you are funded through the Poster Printing Award or through OUR's fellowships and grants, we do appreciate being listed in the acknowledgements. More information about acknowledgements can be found in the Poster Formatting Tips listed below.
