Biography

In my current research, I run a comparative study analyzing alternative development programs designed to reduce the cultivation of illicit crops. Over the past couple of years, I've also conducted research on civil war peace negotiations and ran experimental social-psychological studies looking at behavior in group settings.

My primary research interest lies at the intersection of international relations and social psychology, examining political behavior through a relationship-oriented framework. What I love about my research is how it's able to combine knowledge from so many different disciplines to analyze complex, real-world problems. I'm always happy to share my experiences in research and help others find opportunities that meet their particular needs and interests!

Outside of research, I'm also on the executive councils of Model United Nations and Ethics Bowl, and enjoy watching movies at FilmScene, climbing and writing.
