Project and Position Details: We're looking for a student with careful attention to detail, patience, and outstanding fine motor skills who is interested in working in a neuroscience research lab environment. The student would learn how to build electrodes under a microscope and to prepare slides with brain slices. This position could be an opportunity for a neuroscience or engineering student interested in research to get exposure to the lab, which could lead to an independent study research project. It could also be an interesting opportunity for a student in the arts who is drawn to the highly technical a unique way to apply their skills.
Qualifications: outstanding dexterity and careful attention to detail
Time Commitment: Ideally 20 hours or more over the summer, could start sooner at fewer hours

Start Date: Summer semester
Timeline: Ongoing, potential to be a continuous position, Summer semester only
