Cancer Research Opportunities at Iowa (CROI)

Program Dates: May 18, 2024-July 26, 2024


Disciplines: Cancer research in the Biomedical Sciences, Bioengineering, Health Outcomes Research, Public Health Research

The Cancer Research Opportunities at Iowa program offers a 10 week program conducting a research project in cancer.  We also offer a course in cancer, career development, and mentoring.

Summer Undergraduate MSTP Research Program (SUMR)

The University of Iowa SUMR Program offers an intensive experience for highly motivated undergraduates interested in future combined MD/PhD training for a career as a physician-scientist.

Biomedical Scholars Summer Undergraduate Research Program (BSSURP)

Program Dates: May 20, 2024 - July 26, 2024

*Disciplines: Biomedical Sciences (Free Radical and Radiation Biology, Genetics, Human Toxicology, Immunology, Molecular Medicine, Neuroscience)
The Biomedical Scholars Summer Undergraduate Research Program allows scholars to pursue broad research interests in modern biomedical research, which they may not have opportunities to pursue extensively in undergraduate coursework.
