Biography
My research experience at the University of Iowa focused on adaptive immunity, particularly T-cell exhaustion in chronic disease conditions. This work involves studying the kinetics of T-cell receptor signaling in both acute and chronic animal models and immunological assays. I am especially interested in the translational potential of wet-lab research and how discoveries in basic immunology can inform clinical approaches to disease. Research has also provided opportunities for me to pursue independent projects to further my research experience.

Outside of research, I enjoy playing musical instruments and occasionally performing. I also enjoy playing pickleball, writing creative fiction, watching movies, and hanging out with friends and family.
