My experience at the Midwest Regional Meeting was great, both professionally and
academically. I had the opportunity to participate in a poster session where I was able to share
the research that I have been doing in Dr. Vlaisavljevich’s group with others in the field.
Presenting to other students and professors allowed me to develop my communication skills
and form new professional connections. Along with presenting, I attended talks from
researchers across the Midwest. In these talks, I learned about the current research in field at
other universities, which was a great way for me to expand my learning. I am grateful for OUR’s
support of my research and for this opportunity!
