Biography
I recently started a position in Josep Comeron’s lab, which studies the causes and consequences of genetic variation within and between species, with a particular focus on recombination as a key force shaping genes, genomes, and species evolution using Drosophila melanogaster
Previously, under the mentorship of Dr. Abbey Dvorak, I worked on a scoping review for publication examining music therapy and mild cognitive impairment, where I reviewed and extracted literature data and organized manuscript materials.

What you enjoy doing outside of research:
If you haven’t guessed, I very much enjoy music! I play the violin as a member of the orchestra and as a therapeutic music volunteer at the Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center lobby. I also play the piano…for myself or for anyone willing to listen. Besides music, I love kayaking, going on side quests with my friends, and taking pictures for my Instagram.
