I am a research assistant in the Development, Experience, and Neurocognition lab.  I am currently working on several projects: MINI, Many Numbers, and HSCAN.  Many Numbers is in collaboration with over 100+ institutions internationally.  This study aims to understand cultural differences in mathematical learning.  My work on the MINI project involves delivering WPPSI and WJ cognitive assessments to children and utilizing fNIRS as a measurement for brain activity.  Our research aims to understand why some children exceed in school settings while others fall behind.

What you enjoy doing outside of research:  

I enjoy collecting vinyl's and visiting different coffee shops around campus.  Outside of research, I am an EMT and I am very involved in the UI REACH program as a resident assistant.
