I enjoy my research because it lets me explore the brain in a way that’s both detailed and visually striking. Mapping circuits and tracing neuronal connections reveals patterns and relationships that aren’t obvious from traditional approaches. It’s rewarding to combine this exploration with experiments that could ultimately inform treatments for disorders like dementia.

 

Outside of the lab, I like listening to 90s music, watching old sci-fi movies, weightlifting, and playing strategy games. I enjoy the mix of relaxing with something nostalgic, staying active, and challenging my mind in different ways.
