My research looks at how the WD-GID E3 ubiquitin ligase complex may affect how the liver makes and releases glucose in obesity and diabetes. I really love research because it lets me ask important questions and discover new and interesting ideas each and every day. It is exciting to know that the work I do could help us better understand disease and possibly improve people’s health in the future.

 

Outside of research, I enjoy playing football and lifting, along with playing guitar, reading, and spending time outdoors. I like having a balance of staying active, relaxing, and exploring new places in nature.
