Jon has an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Idaho, an MA in English from Hollins University, and a BA in English from the University of Northern Colorado. He has taught in Appalachia, Colorado, Nebraska, and northern Iraq. He enjoys reading musty old books, chasing after his daughter and dog, and chatting up students and colleagues about history, travel, film, music, and anything else interesting under the sun.
