Megan Wilson

OUR Office Assistant
Biography

I'm Megan from Council Bluffs, Iowa. I'm a junior at the University of Iowa, majoring in Human Physiology with minors in English and Chemistry, and I'm on the pre-med track. I chose the University of Iowa for its extensive opportunities and strong healthcare program.

Currently, I work in the Daly Research Group, where we focus on synthesizing and characterizing dinuclear cobalt coordination complexes with tetradentate ligand scaffolds. Our research involves studying redox activity and analyzing NMR spectra to understand how spin and structure influence various complexes.

In addition to my research, I’m actively involved in several campus organizations, including Dance Marathon, Women in STEM Ambassadors, Campus Activities Board, Medicus, the Human Health and Physiology Club, and the Iowa tutoring program. I also volunteer regularly in the community. Outside of academics and extracurriculars, I enjoy reading, playing the violin, and spending time with friends.
