Biography

Liz has a Master's in Public Health in Community and Behavioral Health and a bachelor's degree in Public Health with a Writing Certificate from the University of Iowa. She formerly worked with American Indians and Alaska Natives on Childhood Trauma by providing resources and training to support community members and individuals working with the AI/AN population! Her undergraduate research project focused on 'Demographic and Psychological Associations with Public Perceptions of Novel Vaccines', which looked at the general population's perceptions of vaccines, infectious diseases, and the government. 

Liz likes to find new recipes and cook with her partner when she is not working. She recently got into gardening and canning! She also loves finding new and exciting events occurring throughout the Iowa City area.
