Biography

Currently I work with the Civil War Research Lab, compiling instances of cooperation between rebel and government groups in civil wars into a novel dataset. I also work with the Center for the Study of Group Processes, where I help run experimental social psychological studies looking at behavior in group settings.

My research interest lies at the intersection of political science and social psychology, examining political behavior through a relationship-oriented framework. What I love about my research is how it's able to combine knowledge from so many different disciplines to analyze complex, real-world problems. I'm always happy to share my experiences in research and help others find opportunities that meet their particular needs and interests!

Outside of research, I run Model United Nations at UIowa and enjoy watching movies at FilmScene, writing, and spending time with friends
