Biography

I work in the Pappajohn Biomedical Discovery Building in the Abel Lab. The research that I am doing is focused on diabetes and cardiovascular diseases. The facilities and opportunities that the University of Iowa provides has allowed me to pave a way to success in research.

I enjoy research because it has taught me how to critically think about issues that I face both in research and every day life, and supplements topics that I am learning in class.

Outside of research, I am a College Transition Workshop Leader for General Chemistry, a TA for first year seminar classes. Some organizations that I am a involved in are the University of Iowa Mobile Clinic and the South Asian Student Alliance. In my free time I like to play football and watch Formula 1.
