Description of research: My research revolves around developing anesthesia for Potamopygrus antipodarum, otherwise known as New Zealand Freshwater snails. By using the anesthetic product, we severe the tentacles of the snails and monitor their regeneration regrowth based on factors of ploidy, lineage, and nutrition. As a result, we can collect data on which experimental group regrows at the quickest rate.

Outside of research: What I enjoy doing outside of my research is going to the gym, hanging out with my friends, and meeting new people when I can.
