There may be students in your major presenting at this event and you may find their research topics to be of interest.

You are invited to the Iowa Sciences Academy 2024 Scholar Symposium! 

This in-person event features short talks by undergraduate students about their research who are currently supported by programs administered by the Iowa Sciences Academy. Please scroll down to see the Schedule of Presentations. Breakfast pastries, bagels, and coffee will be provided!

Information will be available for anyone interested in learning more about or applying to ISA programs that support paid undergraduate research opportunities. Current Sophomores and Juniors are especially encouraged to consider applying for the UI-MARC (Maximizing Access to Research Careers) NIH Fellowships – priority deadline February 10, 2025. If you think someone may be interested in these opportunities or may benefit from attending, we encourage you to share this invite! 

Please come and hear about research being done by undergraduate students in STEM and learn more about paid internship opportunities for undergraduates. We hope to see you there!
