Latham Science Engagement Fellowship

The Latham Science Engagement Fellowship program is designed to enhance research opportunities and strengthen science outreach communication skills for selected undergraduate students. This fellowship is a one-year program, beginning in the fall of 2024. Students will take one 2 S.H. class per semester (LATH:3000 and LATH:3001) where they will learn communication skills and create final outreach projects.

Eligibility Requirements

This application is open to first-years, sophomores, and juniors in a supported major holding at least a 3.0 GPA.

Student Benefits

Those accepted will receive a $500 award as well as valuable skills that can strengthen future career and/or award applications.

Application Details

Students should be prepared to answer two short essay questions on why they want to join the program, provide a resume/CV, and provide a letter of recommendation. Applications will be accepted until April 12, 2024.
