Project details
We are looking for students who are interested in clinical research. Our study highlights such areas as maternal and child health, public health, mental health, developmental biology, and cardiology. Our students have the opportunity to assist with study recruitment by attending clinic visits and approaching potential subjects. They are the first contact for the study, provide a brief description of the study and help answer questions. They collect contact information but are not responsible for the actual consent process. We ask for approximately 4 hours per week or attendance at 1/2 day of a clinic. Additional hours and duties are available for highly motivated students. Students also are able to attend the monthly research meeting if they so desire.
