Project and Position Details
Research projects in Cao’s laboratory focus on uncover molecular and cellular mechanisms regulating development of tooth and supportive tissues. Additionally, we are also interested in regeneration of tooth and supportive tissues. Students will be exposed to many classical and cutting edge laboratory techniques such as: molecular cloning, mouse colony management, cell culture, CRISPR-Cas9 editing, various genomic techniques (RNA-seq, ATAC-Seq, scRNA-seq, CUT&RUN), etc.
Qualifications
Preference will be given to applicants who are interested in biomedical research and plan to pursue advanced training (dental school, medical school or graduate school) in related areas.
