Project and Position Details
The undergraduate researcher would be trained to perform sectioning and staining of mouse tissue (eye and brain). The mouse will have been treated with radiation therapy. 

There is no experience necessary. After contacting us (students should include a resume & current GPA), we will pair the student with a junior faculty member or Postdoctoral fellow in the lab. Volunteers should be able to work for several days a week over the summer to learn the techniques and be able to be in the lab for at least 10 hrs per week during the semester in order to get the most out of their lab experience.
Students will be included on manuscripts, posters and other publications if a measurable contribution has been made.

Qualifications
There is no experience necessary. Willingness to learn and become a team member are expected.

Time Commitment
10 weeks during the semester. 20-40 hours during the summer (to get trained and get the most out of the experience).
