Project details
This position offers the opportunity to learn clinical research with focus on clinical trials. Duties include recruitment and follow up of participants of clinical trial. The student will have the opportunity to interact with clinical trial participants and will be responsible for data collection and documentation. The student will also assist experienced research nurses in their duties conducting clinical trials. The student will learn intermediate statistical analyses, prepare abstracts, and present posters in local, regional and national level. The student will also assist with manuscript writing for publication in peer reviewed journals. Co-authorship will be granted commensurate with the student's contributions.

Qualifications
The applicant should have a background in biology or health sciences. Pre-med track desired but not required. Prior research not required. Minority students welcome.

Time Commitment
Negotiable. Minimum 10h per week.
