Research Topic: Research in a cancer related field
 
Project and Position Details: Join the Radiation Biology and Physics Undergraduate Research Summer Program and participate in a 10-week research experience under the mentorship of a faculty member.
Selected trainees will have the unique opportunity to learn about the latest breakthroughs in cancer therapy including FLASH Radiotherapy.
Research opportunities available in radiation therapy, redox biology, cancer biology, traditional and medical physics, engineering, medical imaging, immunology and more.
Work in cancer related fields is a feature of this program. 
 
The 10-week research program will be held from May 24th - July 31st at the University of Iowa (UI). Student support will include a $6,000 stipend, housing on the University of Iowa campus, and round-trip travel expenses.

Eligibility Requirements:

• US Citizen or Permanent Resident

• Current Bachelor’s degree seeking student in a biomedical science field (completed sophomore year)

Qualifications: Current Bachelor’s degree seeking student in a biomedical science field (completed sophomore year)
 
Time Commitment: 30+ hours per week
