Project details
Our current research focuses on identifying the mechanism for ASIC activation in vivo, understanding the role of ASIC in synaptic plasticity, and establishing an uninterrupted link between ASIC channel activity and its behavioral impact. We are looking for an undergrad student who is responsible and reliable to assist in taking care of mouse colony; scoring behavioral videos. The student will work 15-20 hours per week during the semester and up to 40 hours per week during vacations. In the future responsibilities may increase to include behavioral experiments, surgeries, and other experiments.
