Project details
Paid position entails working with a cardiologist on translational science project focused on developing therapeutics for the treatment of metabolic and cardiovascular diseases. No lab experience required. Will provide training. Techniques/skills that can be acquired from this position: mouse procedures and colony management, genotyping, Western blotting, quantitative PCR, glucose tolerance testing, insulin tolerance testing, nuclear magnetic resonance, high-throughput screening, patient database research, cell culture, manuscript writing, grant writing, poster design, giving scientific talks and posters.

Qualifications
No lab experience required.

Time Commitment
10 hours per week minimum. Flexible schedule. Will adjust work hours as needed to accommodate time needed to study for exams.
